Spend less time hearing, “How do I say this in French?” and more time hearing your students confidently speak French!
This colourful, functional bulletin board provides the visual support students need to make common classroom requests using:
• Est-ce que je peux… ?
• Puis-je… ?
Doubling as an oral communication anchor chart and visual scaffold, the illustrated speech bubbles help students communicate their needs, form complete questions, and speak French more independently. Students can quickly locate phrases for sharpening a pencil, filling a water bottle, working with a partner, using technology, asking for help and more!
WHAT’S INCLUDED:
• 43 French classroom request prompts
• 8 colour-coded categories
• 8 blank speech bubbles (one in each colour) to personalize with your own requests
• Student reference handouts featuring all 43 classroom requests
• 2 student handout heading options: « Est-ce que je peux… ? » and « Puis-je… ? »
• Colour and black-and-white version of each handout
The coordinating student handouts allow students to keep these useful phrases right at their fingertips in their duotangs. They are especially helpful for French teachers without their own classroom, teachers who travel from room to room or students who benefit from having an individual visual reference at their desks.
